This drawing was inspired by a fall day in 2021. I was captivated by the ribbons of fall colors and delicately balanced rocks. The canyons walls framed the valley in such a picturesque way. But now I know the impermanence of this view. With plans to build a gondola up this canyon, the days of this innocence are numbered. It will be a sad day when soaring metal and cabins full of people pollute this skyline.
